Alan Titchmarsh launches a festive album as part of a musical partnership for the RHS Christmas light events
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced an exciting collaboration for their festive illuminations - RHS Glow. This year, the society is working together with gardening broadcaster and writer Alan Titchmarsh and composer Debbie Wiseman on a new album titled "Jack Frost - a Winter Story."
The album, expected to be a part of the RHS Glow event, retells the story of Jack Frost, a figure from folklore who is responsible for winter. Alan Titchmarsh is excited to bring highlights of the album to the RHS Gardens across the UK. Debbie Wiseman, equally thrilled, expresses her anticipation for the album to be experienced within the RHS Gardens.
As for the album's release, it is set for 22 November. The new album features music by Debbie Wiseman and is written and narrated by Alan Titchmarsh. It also includes the vocals of soprano Grace Davidson, two new carols by Debbie Wiseman, Cerys Matthews, and her son, Red Abbott Matthews.
Meanwhile, Christmas light trails are a popular event in the Christmas calendar, attracting thousands of attendees annually. Top Christmas light trails at gardens and parklands across the UK for the 2024-2025 festive season include:
