Join a unique and interactive event, the "Walk & Talk: Coping with Climate Change," taking place at the Climate House Bremerhaven on August 23rd. This event invites participants to embark on a guided walk, followed by enlightening discussions about dealing with the impacts of climate change.

The Climate House, a UNESCO-awarded educational institution and one of the most striking buildings in Europe, serves as the heart of this journey. It leads along the eighth longitude, traversing five continents and nine locations, offering a sensory experience of different life spaces on the planet.

Participants will be led by Irina Lewin, chairwoman of FUSS e.V., as they explore the Climate House's four permanent exhibitions, each presenting the topic of climate from a unique perspective. The Climate House has been a popular learning site since its opening in 2019, welcoming over seven million guests and being recommended by nearly 100% of its visitors.

The tour will also include the interactive "World Future Lab" for climate heroes and the scientifically based "Extreme Weather" experience area. The event is inspired by the current special exhibition "CLIMATE_X" at the Climate House.

Participants are encouraged to bring weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, something to drink, and a small snack. The walk ends at Schaufenster Fischereihafen, and the event is free of charge, with no registration required.

This event aims to create a learning environment that fosters physical engagement and climate resilience discussions by connecting participants with experts and peers on coping with climate change. The Climate House Bremerhaven has previously been involved in similar events at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, where lecturers and students present topics related to sustainability and environmental challenges during a campus walk.

The travel guide Lonely Planet named the Climate House one of the top 5 travel destinations in Germany in 2021, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in climate change education. Don't miss this opportunity to engage, learn, and discuss climate change in a supportive and interactive setting.
