Annual Return of the Open House Festival Marks its 16th Edition!
The 16th Open House International Festival of Contemporary Dance and Performance is set to return to Limassol, Cyprus, from October 2 to 5, 2025. This year, the festival is proudly sponsored by the Deputy Ministry of Culture - Department of Contemporary Culture, and media sponsored by Avant Garde.
The festival, which unfolds across stages, streets, beaches, and parks, presents a vibrant program including performances, happenings, walking-based actions, music, parallel events, and new collaborations. At the heart of the festival, the body, its landscapes, and stories serve as tools for art, resistance, and connection.
One of the highlights of this year's festival is "Dear Festival & Friends," a performative writing program curated and guided by Rodia Vomvolou (dance dramaturg, researcher) and Betina Panagiotara (dance theorist, dramaturg). This program invites participants to become part of its creative team and aims to activate critical thinking and creative writing.
