Astana Fair Showcases Local Produce and Delicacies

A bustling fair in Astana last weekend showcased a variety of fresh market produce and local delicacies. Over 350 tons of goods from Jambyl and Ulytau regions were on display, attracting numerous buyers. The event, held at the 'Kazakhstan' hippodrome parking lot, offered a wide range of products at reasonable prices.

Beekeeper Valery Ryumkin from Merke drew attention with his propolis tincture, touted for various health benefits. Meat lovers indulged in a variety of delicacies, while fresh fruits and vegetables were also popular. The fair boasted a diverse selection, including melons, fish, eggs, and dairy products like milk, kefir, and cheese.

Farmers from across the regions brought their goods personally, ensuring freshness and lower prices. Ainagul Akhmetbekova, a farmer from Zhualynsky district, sold poultry and birds for meat. Despite the lack of information on participants from Kyzylorda and Aktobe regions, the fair was well-stocked with products. Notably, honey and bee products were in high demand among buyers.

The fair in Astana offered a wide range of fresh and affordable products, with horse meat selling at 3200 tenge per kilogram. Despite the lack of specific details on participants from certain regions, the event was a success, attracting many buyers and showcasing the best of local agriculture.
