📆 Launched more than a decade ago, the Women On Water (WOW) program has been on a mission to foster female participation in sailing and boating across Northern Ireland and the UK. Throughout the last ten years, the WOW program has played a monumental role in propelling women's sailing, supporting the sector's growth.

💼 With their 3-year investment, RBCA will work together with RYA Northern Ireland, helping to build awareness and boost WOW-related programming at local sailing clubs throughout the region.

🎉 Research conducted by RYA Northern Ireland in 2022 and 2023 found that providing dedicated spaces and skill-building activities for women can make experiencing and staying in water sports more appealing. So, the WOW program aims to create a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages women and girls to dive into the world of sailing!

🚀 Ross Boyd, the founder of RBCA, explained his firm's enthusiasm for partnering with the WOW program to align with RBCA's mission for gender diversity. With a 50/50 male to female ratio in their workforce and half of their senior roles filled by women, RBCA seeks to promote a healthy work-life balance and empower women to try new leisurely pursuits like water sports!

🌟 Attendees of this year's WOW Festival, happening on 31 May at Ballyholme Yacht Club, Bangor, will have the chance to try a smorgasbord of water activities under the guidance of supportive instructors.
