Rastatt, a charming city in southwest Germany, has welcomed the expansion of the Nextbike e-bike service. The Karlsruhe Transport Association (KVV) has increased the number of e-bikes in Rastatt as part of their ongoing efforts to promote sustainable mobility.

Three e-bikes are now available for rental at the Nextbike station near the Reithalle in Rastatt. These e-bikes are ideal for visitors exploring the city or for a quick shopping trip, eliminating the need for a car.

Rental Fees and Availability

The rental fee for these e-bikes is €2 per 30 minutes. Regular bikes can be rented for €1 per 30 minutes. However, it's important to note that the availability of e-bikes within the KVV.nextbike network serving Rastatt is limited.

Rental and return of the bikes is only possible at the "Kulturplatz Reithalle" station. Bikes can be reserved up to 30 minutes in advance using the Nextbike app, with a €2 deposit that is refunded upon successful rental.
