New Dahlia Brand Shines a Spotlight on Beloved Blooms

Recently, florist Michel Hamersma of Jemi in Amsterdam showcased the potential of My Dahlia Society's offerings by crafting two stunning bouquets. One bouquet was a vibrant spectacle, while the other whispered elegance in soft hues.
The first bouquet featured the small but mighty pink Dahlia Wizard of Oz and its soft twin, Wizard of Oz White. This variety, with its thin, almost spiky-like petals and a colour between soft salmon and dusty coral, brought a sense of movement and airiness to the arrangement. Spider Salmon's upfacing flower structure further helped elongate the bouquet's shape.
In addition to these, the bouquet included Dahlia Bohemian Spartacus, a type of Dahlia that flirts with gravity and pushes back a little when arranged, and Dahlia Babylon Bronze, a large-headed Dahlia with layered, fluffy petals in a deep golden-bronze tone. Dahlia Bohemian Spartacus was tucked deep into the bouquet for contrast, drawing the eye but not shouting over everyone else, while Babylon Bronze added a touch of richness and depth.
