The historic building, renowned for its iconic auditorium frames, will see a facelift after a quarter of a century. While the frames remain unchanged, the seats and upholstery will be replaced, and the old carpet in the auditorium will be replaced as part of the renovation.
The city of Wiesbaden is particularly focusing on improving fire safety in the historic building. New escape route markings and revised safety structures are being implemented, along with the installation of decentralized smoke extraction systems.
