Breathtaking, ancient beauty - Breitunger Hausberg, offering an enchanting panorama
The Rhönklub ZV Breitungen, located in the picturesque town of Breitungen and nestled amidst the breathtaking landscape of the Harz region, has announced the reopening of its facilities after a COVID-19 enforced break.
Visitors can once again ascend the observation tower and enjoy the panoramic views, with individual or family groups being given a key for a safe, self-guided climb. The hut, another popular attraction, will also welcome guests.
In light of the ongoing pandemic, the Rhönklub ZV Breitungen has implemented new safety measures to ensure a secure environment for all. These include wearing masks upon entering the hut, maintaining a distance of 1.5 meters where possible, and limiting the number of visitors inside the hut to prevent crowding. Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance, and guests are encouraged to use it.
If you feel unwell or exhibit any symptoms associated with COVID-19, it is recommended that you refrain from visiting. Additional instructions given by staff or posted on-site should also be followed diligently.
Interestingly, the Brocken, a notable peak in the Harz range that can be seen from the Plesse, is not mentioned in relation to the reopening. However, the Breitunger house mountain, standing tall at 644 meters, offers a similar vantage point for breathtaking views.
Chairman of the Rhönklub ZV Breitungen, Rochus Rücker, has also announced that food and drinks, including cake and sausages, will be served outdoors, adding a delightful touch to the experience.
For the most current updates or changes, checking the official Rhönklub ZV Breitungen website (www.rhoenklub-breitungen.de) or contacting them directly before your visit is highly recommended.
