Celebrated authors grace urban locales:
The Harbour Front Literature Festival is set to return to Hamburg this autumn, running from September 20th until October 19th. The festival, now in its second year, will feature a total of 60 events across various locations throughout the city.
Notable venues include the Elbphilharmonie, Thalia in Gaußstraße, Laeiszhalle, and the Design Center Hamburg. The festival will kick off with the awarding of the new Felix Jud Prize to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at the Elbphilharmonie on September 20th.
Thomas Melle will present his work "House in the Sun" at Thalia in Gaußstraße on September 21st. Tickets for this event, as well as for many other exciting evenings at the festival, are available despite some events being sold out, such as those featuring Samantha Harvey, Ian McEwan, Caroline Wahl, and T. C. Boyle.
