Children's classical music concerts and workshops to extend to five Romanian counties this spring season
Rewritten Article:
Get ready, kids! A musical extravaganza is heading your way across several Romanian counties this spring! Spanning Cluj, Maramureș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Alba, and Sălaj, the Classic for Kids tour promises an unforgettable, kid-friendly classical music adventure.
Kicking off in April, pianist Bogdan Vaida and composer Anamaria Meza will embark on a journey to enchant young minds with the secrets of classical music. In the upcoming two months, they'll visit 17 schools, cultural centers, associations, museums, and even a castle for completely free concerts and workshops.
So, put on your thinking caps because this ain't just a concert—it's a musical carnival! Through interactive games, activities, and hands-on exploration of musical instruments, children will get to play along with the pros. And let's face it, what kid doesn't love making some noise?
The theme for this year's performances is "Mozart and the Jungle," and the adventure will take children through the exciting rhythms of contemporary classical music as they discover tales from the animal kingdom. The repertoire includes pieces by the legendary Mozart and animal-themed compositions specially created for this tour by contemporary composers Cip Pop, Cristian Bence-Muk, Șerban Marcu, and none other than Anamaria Meza herself.
Pianist Bogdan Vaida, the mastermind behind the Classic for Kids project, shares his excitement: "Kids are curious, open-minded. They don't distinguish between contemporary, classical, pop, or jazz. They either find the music interesting or not. And the music we've chosen for this year's tour? It's straight-up awesome!"
Get ready to be serenaded by meowing cats, howling wolves, the delicate hum of butterflies, and hilarious stories about monkeys and foxes.
