City authorities announce closure of Landrat Fürth and Value-houses every Tuesday afternoon
Landratsamt Fuerth Offices and Waste Disposal Facilities to Close on Shrove Tuesday
Residents of Fuerth and surrounding districts will experience a change in services on Shrove Tuesday, February 13, 2024, as the Landratsamt Fuerth offices and district waste disposal facilities will be closed.
The offices, located in Fuerth and Zirndorf, will cease operations at 12:00 PM on the day, with the closure affecting both locations. Similarly, the waste disposal facilities in Zirndorf/Rangau and Langenzenn/Horbach will also be closed on the same day.
Landrat Bernd Obst, the head of the district office of Fürth, announced the closure, which will last until after Shrove Tuesday. The employees of the Landratsamt will not return to work until the following day.
However, it's important to note that the waste disposal facilities will reopen on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 8:00 AM, while the Landratsamt offices will resume operations after Shrove Tuesday. The closure of the offices will not affect the regular business hours of the waste disposal facilities from Ash Wednesday onwards.
The waste disposal facilities will not be affected by the unavailability of the Landratsamt employees from Ash Wednesday. Conversely, the Landratsamt offices will not be affected by the Wednesday closure of the waste disposal facilities.
The Landratsamt offices and waste disposal facilities operate independently of each other in terms of their closure and reopening schedules. This means that the closure of the offices will not impact the waste disposal facilities, and vice versa.
Residents are advised to plan their waste disposal accordingly and to check the official websites for any updates or changes in the schedules of the Landratsamt offices and waste disposal facilities.
