Commemorating World Children's Day within a residential facility for transitional care
The Transition House invites families to join a joyful afternoon of music, theater, and interactive activities for World Children's Day on September 20, 2025. Located at Königstraße 54, Lübeck, the event takes place between 2 PM and 6 PM.
The Transition House, easily found on luebeck-tourism.de/transitionhouse and on social media with the handle @LuebeckTransitionHouse, aims to make participation, play, and children's rights tangible.
At 2 PM, Dirk Paulsen and the "Sound Bubbles" will perform a one-hour interactive concert suitable for children aged 4 to 12. Later in the day, the young ensemble, "junges schauspiel lübeck," founded in 2024, will present two short plays based on the children's book "Hey, Hey, Hey, Taxi!" by Saša Stanisić as part of the Lübeck Theatre Night at 4:30 PM and 5 PM.
In addition to the performances, Plan International's action group in Lübeck will provide refreshments, offering waffles and coffee on a donation basis. The proceeds from the refreshments will go towards projects for children worldwide.
