Community-organized Pumpkin Festival at the Benett residence
On September 22, 2024, the Bennett family invites everyone to their annual Traditional Pumpkin Day at their organic farm in Waldstraße 50a, Lübeck-Israelsdorf. This family-friendly event is set to be a day filled with fun activities for all ages.
The main attraction will be the "Lübeck Sphinx" proudly displayed in front of a pumpkin pyramid. Other activities include pumpkin carving, pony rides, and a straw fort.
Nature conservation associations, nature forest kindergartens, and the voluntary fire brigade Israelsdorf will also be participating in the event. For those arriving by car, parking instructions will be provided, and the family encourages attendees to arrive by bicycle or public transport (bus line 12, Waldstraße stop).
The day's schedule runs from 10 am to 5 pm, and various local businesses will be joining the celebration. The spinning mill that processes the farm's own sheep's wool, Israelsdorf beekeeping, and artists from Schellbruch are all set to participate.
