Craftsmanship Autumn Event in Lünen: Heinrich-Bußmann School Wins Team Match

The second Craftsmanship Autumn Event in Lünen drew a large crowd to the city center on a beautiful day. The highlight was a team match where school classes and sports clubs competed in craft tasks, with Heinrich-Bußmann School, Class 10b, emerging victorious. The event also featured a wide range of craft trades, including new exhibitors like funeral services, and concluded with a raffle offering prizes worth 500 Euro.

The team match saw schools and clubs racing against time to complete craft tasks. Heinrich-Bußmann School, Class 10b, won first place with a time of 8:58 minutes, earning them 1,000 Euro sponsored by Volksbank Selm-Bork. Kaethe-Kollwitz Comprehensive School, Team 'Golden Hand', took second place with a time of 17:19 minutes, receiving 500 Euro from IKK classic. Gymnasium Altluenen, Class 9d, secured third place with a time of 18:49 minutes, winning 250 Euro sponsored by the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts.

The event showcased various craft trades, with children enjoying a bouncy castle for entertainment. The day concluded with a raffle at the town hall, with several hundred visitors entering the draw. Sparkasse an der Lippe sponsored the raffle prizes, including a city voucher worth 100 Euro as the main prize. The feedback from exhibitors and visitors was overwhelmingly positive, with many planning to return next year.
