A Pre-Sorted Children's Flea Market Coming to Kaarst
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 13, 2025, as a special event is coming to Kaarst: the 12th Vorsortierter Kindertrödel, a pre-sorted children’s flea market. This event will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Katholisches Pfarrzentrum Holzbüttgen, located at Bruchweg 18, 41564 Kaarst.
This community gathering offers a unique opportunity for families to find pre-sorted children’s items such as clothes, toys, and related goods. The space, provided by Peter Schuck, has been previously used for an arts and crafts market and is fully equipped with floor tiles, lighting, power connections, and heating, ensuring a comfortable shopping experience.
The event is organized by the Verein Angewandte Kunst.Düsseldorf association, and any interested individuals or families are welcome to participate. Each participant will receive an area of approximately three meters, with room for around 100 tables in the space. There is no fee for participation, but a donation of 10 euros is requested from each exhibitor to make bookings more binding.
The collected donation will be donated in full to the Malteser children and youth leisure facility "Die Insel" on Asternweg. The idea for this children's flea market originated from some Kaarster families, demonstrating the community's commitment to supporting local causes.
