Wander among a colossal T-Rex, a 23-meter-long Diplodocus, or beneath one of the flying reptiles, and you'll find yourself in awe, much like Nathalie Albers from Heimfeld, who describes it as "Jurassic Park-like."

Nathalie, a mother of nine-year-old Henry, often spends a day immersed in the enclosed forest area of Rosengarten in Landkreis Harburg, especially during school holidays. "It's an incredible experience," she enthuses.

Along a One-kilometer trail in the park, more than 120 dinosaur and prehistoric animal models, expertly crafted in fiberglass, have been strategically placed, laid, and hung.

The exhibition was brought to life through painstaking collaboration between Tierpark Rosengarten and the Dinosaurier Freilichtmuseum Münchehagen. The models, faithful to the most recent findings in paleontology, have been meticulously designed to mirror today's birds of prey.

Lars Otten, manager of the 60-hectare park in the Lüneburger Heide, home to 1,200 living animals, sheds further light, "If you look closely, you'll find intriguing similarities between the prehistoric flying reptiles and our modern birds of prey."

Informative boards dotted throughout the trail connect the past to the present, explaining how the armored tortoise and the spiky hedgehog benefit from the same features as their ancient counterparts.Keen explorers can even dig for fossils in the sand, unearth dinosaur relics, or design their favorite dinosaur during their journey.
