Dubai Sets World Art Exhibition Dates for 2026, Previous Year's Event Fetes 16 Award Recipients

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking world of art as World Art Dubai 2025 wrapped up its grand finale on April 20! Located at the spacious Dubai World Trade Centre, this jaw-dropping eleven-day event was a veritable feast for the eyes, gathering over 400 artists, 120 galleries, and 10,000 intriguing artworks from more than 65 countries!
Taking center stage was the awe-inspiring 'ANAX Art Award,' introduced by the original property sponsor, ANAX Developments, an esteemed organization renowned for their exceptional work in real estate, hospitality, and media, and specializing in groundbreaking urban projects and luxurious experiences. This exciting accolade celebrated artistic brilliance intertwined with luxury design, reflecting the ever-evolving cultural identity of the UAE.
The event didn't shy away from offering an exhilarating mix of experiences – lively workshops, including urban sketching, pottery, and even a unique bag tufting session at the Textile Hub. Meanwhile, three pop-up performance zones dotted around the four halls pumped up the energy with live music and performances, such as witnessing the creation of a colossal life-sized sculpture by the amazingly talented Artezaar artist, Jude Obozuwa. The festivities concluded with a 'silent' concert by the European synth-pop duo, close to Monday, serenading art lovers with their catchy tunes.
The cherry on top was the awards ceremony, where artists and galleries shined across 16 illustrious categories, including a Future Artist Award for imaginative pupils, showcasing their creative visions of the world in 2075. The acclaimed StuDIYo Lab gifted the winning schools with cash and workshops worth a whopping AED 1,000!
Among the prestigious awardees were two international artists bagging a residency at Rove Hotels and Radisson Red Dubai Silicon Oasis, where they'll create artworks inspired by their captivating time in Dubai.
