"Exhausted Zookeeper in Yakutsk Expresses Health Concerns and Wants City Departure"

Zlata Sycheva, a well-known animal rights activist from Yakutsk, has shared her decision to leave the city, citing concerns about the poor state of animal welfare and the impact it has on her health.

Sycheva, who runs the Telegram channel @Zlata_tv, has been a tireless advocate for animals in Yakutsk for many years. She and her colleagues have been rescuing and caring for countless animals, including many disabled ones, who are often overlooked by others.

Sycheva believes that there are many volunteers waiting in the wings who will step up to help animals when she and her team leave. She is confident that they will leave an army of caring, big-hearted people behind to continue the important work.

One of the main reasons for Sycheva's decision to leave Yakutsk is her concern for her own health. She and her colleagues have not had a good night's sleep in at least 10 years due to their work with abandoned animals. They often find themselves rescuing animals from difficult situations, such as cats from poles and dogs from bogs.

Sycheva is also worried about the future of animals in Yakutsk if she and her team stay and survive another winter. She fears that the number of animals needing help will only increase.

Despite her decision to leave, Sycheva does not plan to disappear from the information field. She plans to continue running her Telegram channel and helping people and animals remotely. She also promises to visit Yakutsk and never forget it.

Sycheva is hopeful that in 50 years, with stricter pet ownership rules and more fines, the trend of giving pets as gifts to children might decrease. However, she acknowledges that people's neglect of their pets will never truly stop.

Sycheva's departure from Yakutsk is a loss for the city's animal welfare community, but her work and impact will undoubtedly live on through the caring individuals she has inspired and the animals she has saved.

Upon leaving Yakutsk, Sycheva intends to shift her focus to a more balanced home-and-garden lifestyle, allowing her to prioritize her own health needs. Nevertheless, she intends to maintain her pet advocacy work, using her Telegram channel @Zlata_tv as a platform to continue helping animals remotely, and occasionally visiting the city.
