Langen's Urban Transformation: A Glimpse into the Future

In the heart of Hesse, the town of Langen is gearing up for significant changes. On a recent evening, local dignitaries, industry leaders, and interested residents gathered to discuss the upcoming developments that will shape the town's future.

Mayor Jan Werner emphasised the importance of these changes, stating that they will lead to an important adaptation of Langen's infrastructure. The focus of these developments is on infrastructure modernisation, necessary to accommodate the future requirements of planned construction projects on the east side of the railway line.

These projects, which include new residential buildings, commercial, and service areas, will permanently change the urban image of Langen. They will bring more living space and jobs to the town, marking a new era of growth and development.

One of the key projects under discussion was the Advancis Campus, a new construction project west of Langen station. Advancis Software & Services GmbH, based in Langen since 2004, is initially building the campus for its own needs. Managing Director Jan Meiswinkel emphasised the role of Advancis in the region and their intent to create an innovative location for the company while contributing to Langen's urban development.

The Advancis Campus is designed to be a modern place for work, living, and leisure, significantly shaping the urban development of Langen. It is being developed as an urban highlight, with the partnership of LIG BAU GmbH, a company based in Langen that specialises in residential and commercial construction.

Alexander Horn, the head of LIG BAU GmbH, provided insights into ongoing and completed projects, giving the guests a glimpse into the company's work. Jan Khalid Abdelfatah, Project Developer of LIG BAU GmbH, also shared valuable information about the projects.

Visitors had the opportunity to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere on the rooftop terrace of LIG BAU GmbH. This event offered a unique opportunity for the community to engage with the decision-makers and industry leaders shaping Langen's future.

As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that the town of Langen is on the brink of an exciting new chapter. The developments planned for the town will not only modernise its infrastructure but also contribute to its urban development, making it a more vibrant and dynamic place to live, work, and visit.
