Festival returns on August 25: Celebration on the Oechsenberg hills
The Rhönklub branch association in Vacha is hosting the 10-year anniversary Oechsenbergfest on August 9, 2025. This traditional event promises a day full of music, food, and camaraderie, taking place in the heart of Vacha at the Vächer Hausberg.
The day's entertainment will kick off with the alphorn group "Siebenschläfer" from Geisa performing from 12 PM. At 2 PM, "Ingo, the Asphaltstürmer" will take the stage, followed by Katha providing musical support. The highlight of the day will be the combined performance by Ingo and Katha at 6 PM. The audience is invited to join the late-night celebration as well.
For those attending the Oechsenbergfest, it is advised to bring a headlamp or flashlight for the descent during the event. A descent during the Oechsenbergfest is the responsibility of the attendee.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the day. Bratwurst will be served, and refreshing drinks will be on hand to quench your thirst. A cake buffet will also be available for those with a sweet tooth.
