Free Senior Tech Training Sessions Coming to Bavarian Shopping Centers

In the fourth quarter of 2025, free, low-threshold training sessions will be held in several Bavarian shopping centers to assist seniors with using tablets and mobile phones. The sessions are part of a project funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Work and Social Affairs.

The 'Support in difficult life situations - Care support point Plus' department will host these 90-minute Q&A sessions on three different dates in each location. The aim is to help seniors become more comfortable with using smartphones and tablets, enabling them to participate more actively in society.

Sessions will take place in Wörth a.d. Donau, Neutraubling, Obertraubling, Hemau, and Regenstauf. For queries, interested parties can contact Frau García Jociles at the Landratsamt Regensburg. Her contact details are phone 0941 4009-531 and email [email protected].

These sessions, free for all interested seniors, will be crucial in bridging the digital divide and ensuring no one is left behind in the digital age. The project, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry, is a testament to the region's commitment to supporting its senior citizens.
