India Warns Pakistan: No Misadventure After Operation Sindoor Success

India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has warned Pakistan against any misadventure in the Sir Creek area, as the Indian armed forces remain vigilant along the borders. This comes after the successful conclusion of Operation Sindoor, which thwarted Pakistan's attempts to challenge India's sovereignty.

Singh's warning was issued during the Shastra Poojan ceremony, a worship of weapons that symbolises India's commitment to using its military power to protect dharma and justice. The ceremony took place at the Lakki Nala Military Garrison in Kutch on the occasion of Vijayadashami.

Operation Sindoor, which began on May 7, 2025, saw the Indian Army and Border Security Force (BSF) working together to safeguard India's borders. The operation's success was marked by the inauguration of a Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on September 26, 2025.

India has made several attempts to resolve the Sir Creek border dispute through dialogue. However, Pakistan's intentions in the matter remain unclear.

With Operation Sindoor successfully concluded and the Indian armed forces on high alert, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's warning to Pakistan serves as a stern reminder of India's commitment to protecting its sovereignty. The Shastra Poojan ceremony further underscores this resolve, as India continues to explore diplomatic solutions to border disputes.
