Children's Flea Market at Kaarster Kindergartens
Overview
Innovative, off-the-beaten-path strategy for the Kaarst street market for children: employing idle spaces for the venture - a clever thought indeed!
The Kaarster kindergartens are organising a children's flea market, providing an exciting opportunity for children (and their families) to sell and purchase gently used toys, books, clothes, and other children-related items.
Event Details
- Recipient: The collected donation money will be donated to the Malteser children and youth leisure facility "Die Insel" on Asternweg.
- Space: The event will take place in a spacious area of approximately 1,300 square meters, fully equipped with ceramic tiles, lighting, power outlets, and heating. The space can accommodate around 100 tables, with each participant receiving an area of approximately three meters for a folding table.
- Organiser: The event is being coordinated by Marketing Director Peter Schuck, with Rolf Retzlaff also involved.
- Participation: Anyone who wishes to participate in the event is welcome. However, a donation of 10 euros is requested from each exhibitor to make bookings more binding.
- History: The idea for the children's flea market originated from several Kaarster families. Previously, an artisanal market with stands from artists of the Verein Angewandte Kunst.Düsseldorf had taken place in the same space last October.

Other attendees at the Children's Flea Market might find it interesting to explore the home-and-garden section for haggling over second-hand items, or perhaps indulge in some shopping for unique children's lifestyle products during their visit to the event. If you're planning to participate, don't forget to register via email and make your 10 euro donation to secure your spot.
