Koblenz commemorates: Here showcases the significant moments of the Schängel Market 2025
Get ready for an exciting three-day event in Koblenz, as the city prepares to host the 47th Schängel Market! From September 19th to 21st, the city will come alive with a variety of activities, live performances, and market stalls.
The festival kicks off with a traditional keg tapping ceremony by Mayor David Langner at the SWR EINSTEIN stage at the Jesuitenplatz on the opening night. The music program for the event includes four stages with live performances, ensuring there's something for everyone.
On the first day, the "Bundeswehr Career & Antenne Koblenz" stage will feature a presentation by the EPG Baskets, followed by a 90s party with music videos on a large screen. On Friday evening, Max Demann and Dominik Duderstaedt will take the stage, followed by DJ sets from Antenne Koblenz.
Saturday is packed with activities. The "Beats & Wine" event offers music and relaxation, while the SWR EINSTEIN stage will host the performance of "NonPlusX". On the same day, the Ananas stage at the Liebfrauenkirche will have rock music from "Thin Men" and "Pitters Karaoke" in the afternoon, and "DJane Tala" from DASDING Partybash in the evening.
For those interested in family-friendly activities, the DRK Koblenz and the youth fire brigade at the Liebfrauenkirche have organised a range of activities. Meanwhile, a craft market with around 80 stands will be open daily in the Schloßstraße.
On Sunday (21st September), a free Park+Ride shuttle will operate every 30 minutes from 12 to 7 PM into the city center. This day will also see a special exhibition dedicated to E-cars and second-life cars.
In addition, a bike fair will be held at the Willi-Hörter-Platz, featuring current models and accessories. Regional car dealers will present current vehicle models as part of the "Performance Show Mobility and e-Mobility" at Central Platz West, Ost, and the Löhrrondell for all three days.
The popular Burgundy festival with French wines and specialties will take place on the Oberen Löhr. The BID Schloßstraße Koblenz e.V. is hosting an evening program in the Schlossrondell with live bands like "Rumbaccoustic", "Tri3o", and "Umsuka Music".
On Saturday evening at the "Bundeswehr Career & Antenne Koblenz" stage, the cult duo Max Demann and Dominik Duderstaedt will welcome prominent guests, followed by Antenne Koblenz DJs taking over the moderation. At 18:00, "Beats & Wine" offers music and enjoyment.
