Long Island Native Creates Haven for 211 Animals in Florida Sanctuary
Stephanie Boydston, a Long Island native with a lifelong love for animals, has established Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. The 10-acre sanctuary, located in Florida, is currently home to 211 animals, including goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, and pigs. Boydston, who previously worked in fundraising for Make-A-Wish, maintains the sanctuary with monthly expenses totalling $6200.
Boydston's passion for animal welfare began in her childhood, where she cared for various foster animals. Her father instilled in her the importance of saying goodbye to pets, a lesson she carries on at the sanctuary. She started volunteering at Good Karma Pet Rescue, finding homes for eight potbellied pigs and keeping two, which inspired her to found Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary.
Boydston primarily manages the care and feeding of the animals single-handedly. She visits the sanctuary's website, https://www.lovelifeanimalrescue.org/, to learn more about contributing, volunteering, or adopting animals. The sanctuary's expenses amount to $6200 monthly, with Boydston's fundraising experience from Make-A-Wish aiding in maintaining the sanctuary.
Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, under Boydston's leadership, provides a safe haven for 211 animals. With Boydston's dedication and fundraising efforts, the sanctuary continues to thrive, offering a place for animals in need. To support the sanctuary, visit https://www.lovelifeanimalrescue.org.
