Musician Faryna Kicks Off 'Safe in Traffic' Concerts in Vlotho
Musician Faryna kicked off another year of safe concerts on Friday, entertaining and educating first-graders from four Vlotho elementary schools at the Kulturfabrik. The event, part of the 'Safe in Traffic' project, drew a lively crowd and even saw Landrat Jürgen Müller join in the fun.
Faryna, a seasoned performer in the Herford district, has been singing about traffic safety for seven years. His catchy tunes and concise lyrics encourage children's participation and help them remember crucial rules. The concert in Vlotho was no exception, with the musician engaging the kids with songs about visibility, traffic lights, bicycle safety, and school street rules.
The 'Safe in Traffic' project, initiated by a local working group involving police, traffic office, and mobility management representatives, aims to reach around 2,800 first-graders across the district this year. Faryna will give over 15 concerts, visiting every town and municipality. On Friday, the Kulturfabrik was fully occupied, with Landrat Müller in attendance, highlighting the joy and enthusiasm of the children during the performance.
Faryna's concert in Vlotho was a resounding success, with special attention given to plush traffic light figures 'Red' and 'Green'. The musician, who has been awarded the 'Red Knight' prize by the Children's Accident Help e.V., continues to make a significant impact on children's safety education through his engaging performances.
