"New Eatery 'Vino & Gusto Ernesto' Now Operational in Bad Wörishofer Thermen-Galeria"
In the picturesque town of Bad Wörishofen, a new culinary gem has emerged. The Thermal Gallery of Therme Bad Wörishofen welcomed Vino & Gusto Ernesto in July 2025, offering authentic Italian cuisine to visitors seeking a delightful dining experience amidst the wellness offerings of the thermal baths.
Thermal Operator Jörg Wund is thrilled to have brought Ernesto Ianiro, the innovative leader of the local gastronomy scene in Kneippstadt, to the Thermal Gallery. The restaurant's official opening was celebrated in the presence of the local mayor, Stefan Welzel.
Vino & Gusto Ernesto boasts a fully equipped kitchen, enabling it to offer a variety of dishes, including fish and meat, as well as weekly changing specials. The restaurant's seating capacity is approximately 60, with additional seating available on an outdoor terrace.
The new restaurant is a fresh addition to the Thermal Gallery, designed to enhance the gastronomic experience for visitors of the spa complex. It follows some renovations and upgrades to the overall facility infrastructure, including a modernized Kneipp-Shop and sustainable energy initiatives.
Despite its recent opening, extensive customer reviews are yet to be published. However, social media posts from the time of opening highlight positive community and leadership support at the launch.
The proven staff from the previous operation at the Thermal Gallery is still on board at the new Vino & Gusto Ernesto. Notably, Ernesto Ianiro's label, Vino e Gusto, is based on a proven tradition and quality in the spa town.
Interestingly, the new restaurant does not offer the same menu as the bistro that it replaced, which was operated by Alfons Mayer, known as "Burschi" Mayer, for twenty successful years. After two decades of service, Burschi preferred to dedicate himself to real water sports and his boat.
Thermal Operator Wund expressed his satisfaction with the new restaurant, stating, "Everything to my taste." He, along with Ianiro, worked together to find a successor solution for the restaurant in the Thermal Gallery.
In a unique twist, Ernesto Ianiro opened a concept bistro store in Rudolf-Diesel-Straße simultaneously with the new restaurant in the Thermal Gallery. This move further cements Ianiro's position as a significant figure in the local gastronomy scene.
In summary, Vino & Gusto Ernesto is a welcome addition to Bad Wörishofen's Thermal Gallery, offering a rich dining experience for visitors seeking authentic Italian flavors within the wellness environment of the town.
The Theral Operator Jörg Wund expanded the gastronomic offerings at the Thermal Gallery with the addition of Vino & Gusto Ernesto, a new restaurant that serves authentic Italian cuisine and complements the home-and-garden-inspired setting of the spa complex. This contemporary eatery, designed by Ernesto Ianiro, also caters to food-and-drink lovers with a variety of dishes, including fish and meat, and a weekly changing menu.
