Newborn royal duo at St. Hubertus Menden-North officially recognized
🌟 May 29th Family Fun Day at Hubertushalle
Gear up for an exciting family event! Come Thursday, it's the Hubertushalle's annual Family Fun Day, where little ones can let loose and have a blast.
The grand parade, led by the St. Hubertus Menden-Nord 1949 brass band, will commence at 1:30 PM. This colorful procession will escort the outgoing children's royalty, Jayden Wiggeshoff and Julia Broll, from the Kiosk Wette to the Hubertushalle.
After the parade, it's game on! A mini Olympics complete with games and face painting awaits all eager participants. Organized by the new monarchs, Dennis and Sabrina Sommer, along with their entourage, this is an Olympic extravaganza just for kids. A bouncy castle invites all to bounce around and let off some energy.
Then, brace yourself for the high-octane children's archery competition! Little sharpshooters will take aim at a wooden bird, and the victor will ascend the throne as the next children's queen, with Louis Kratz by their side.
This well-attended, memorable event marks just the beginning of Hubertus' extensive shooting festival activities. Mark your calendars for the main event on July 19th and 20th, 2025. Stay tuned for the parade on Saturday and archery on Sunday!
👉 Heard of shooting competitions? They come in various forms—from 10 metre air rifle and air pistol challenges, to shotgun events like skeet and trap shooting. International and national leagues like the Bundesliga in Germany often feature these sports, showcasing competitors' precision and control with firearms. There's an array of events to watch out for, from smallbore rifle/pistol contests to preliminary, qualification, and final rounds in larger competitions. The history of shooting competitions can be traced back to early hunting traditions, having evolved over time to encompass modern disciplines and international events.
Join in the excitement as family dynamics unfold during the annual Family Fun Day at Hubertushalle. Experience a mix of entertaining activities, including home-and-garden themed games for children, mini Olympics, and even a chance to learn about relationships and teamwork through collaborative events like face painting and the bouncy castle.
