Operating Schedule of Outdoor Public Baths

Detmold, Germany - The city of Detmold is making adjustments to the opening hours of its public swimming pools due to staff shortages. The municipal company DetCon, which manages the baths, has announced changes to the schedules of Fischerteich, Schwarzenbrink, Berlebeck, and Hiddesen public pools.

Starting next week, Fischerteich Public Pool will be open from 11:30 to 19:00 on Wednesday to Friday. However, it will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. The pool will also extend its weekend hours, operating from 11:00 to 18:30 on Saturday and Sunday.

Schwarzenbrink Public Pool will be open from 13:00 to 19:00 on Monday, and from 11:30 to 19:00 on Tuesday to Friday. Unfortunately, Schwarzenbrink will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Berlebeck Public Pool will operate from 12:00 to 19:00 on Monday through Wednesday, from 13:00 to 19:00 on Thursday, and from 12:00 to 19:00 on Friday. The pool will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Hiddesen Public Pool will be open Monday through Thursday from 12:00 to 19:00, on Friday from 13:00 to 19:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 18:30.

The goal is to deploy available specialist staff to minimize pool closures. The four public pools will also share any closure days solidarity.
