Schaferweg Playground Gets a Makeover: Join the Community Redesign
The math playground 'Schaferweg' on the Flammberg in Huesten is getting a makeover. The local municipal urban planning department, along with the neighborhood community association, are leading the project. They invite everyone to participate in the redesign through a 'Participation Project'.
The first zoom meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, at 4 PM. Children, parents, grandparents, and all interested citizens are welcome to attend. The Department of Parks|Forestry|Cemeteries and the Family Office are hosting the event, which will take place rain or shine.
At this initial gathering, wishes of the children and initial ideas for the math playground's redesign will be collected. These contributions will then be implemented into a concrete plan. A second on-site meeting will be held to present this plan.
The redesign of the 'Schaferweg' math playground is set to be a collaborative effort, with the community's input playing a crucial role. The participation project offers an opportunity for everyone to actively contribute to the transformation of their local play area.
