In Syzert, the 'Your Style' Sewing Mastery Olympiad Takes Place, Uniting Talented Schoolgirls
The Syzert municipal district administration's press service reported that the sewing competition, "Your Style," recently took place in Syzert, attracting talented schoolgirls from Syzert, Bolshoe Sedelnikovo, Bolshoi Istok, and Aramil.
The three-round event—theoretical, practical, and a defense of creative projects—required participants to sew a plaid fabric outfit independently.
Serafima Sutyagina and Vasilisa Shilyaeva were named the winners in the senior group, while Veronika Obrucheva and Diana Zyryanova took the top spots in the junior group.
Serafima, a 13-year-old 7th-grader from Aramil with various creative hobbies, including sewing, shared her experience at the competition. She sewed her summer outfit—a plaid top and skirt—all by herself and was thrilled with her first-time participation.
