Stadtbibliothek-Persiluhr Presents 'Sea Pig Days' Picture Book Cinema
The Stadtbibliothek-Persiluhr at Münsterstraße 21 is hosting a delightful event for young readers. On October 14, 2025, at 4 PM, the library will transform into a 'cinema for books', presenting the enchanting tale 'Sea Pig Days' by Cornelia Funke.
The story, suitable for children aged four and above, follows Cleo, a girl who gains an unusual pet - a sea pig named Frieda. Through their bond, Cleo learns to see the world from Frieda's perspective, teaching empathy and understanding. The event will last around 45 minutes, followed by a fun craft activity that ties in with the story.
Due to high interest, a second screening of the 'Picture Book Cinema' module is planned for October 28th, if registration numbers are high. Admission to both events is free, but registration is mandatory due to limited seating, and it's now open.
