In an effort to prevent the neighborhood square at Hohenzollern Allee from becoming a heat island, the Greens in district 2, along with neighborhood group Flingern/Duesseltal, are organizing a public dance lesson on Thursday evening, 10.7. The dance lesson, titled "Dance or not at all", will be held in cooperation with Discofox World Champion Maria Dortmann.

Barbara Weishaupt, spokesperson for the Greens in district 2 and initiator of the event, emphasizes the importance of public spaces for community building and democracy promotion. She believes that increasing usage of the square is crucial for fostering a sense of community and promoting local democracy.

The dance lesson, starting at 7:30 PM, is open to everyone interested. Maria Dortmann will be on site as a trainer for the event, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all participants.

In addition to the Greens and Maria Dortmann, TD TSC Düsseldorf Rot-Weiß is also cooperating in the organization of the dance lesson.

While there is no specific information available about this event in current search results, checking local Düsseldorf district 2 community boards, the official website or social media channels of the Greens in Düsseldorf, or local event calendars closer to the date might provide up-to-date details.

It's worth noting that the Greens are currently focusing on the necessity of de-sealing urban areas, with the action #Abpflastern. This initiative aims to promote a more sustainable and livable city by encouraging the use of public spaces.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the dance club located on Altenbergstraße is looking forward to introducing itself at Grafental. However, this event appears to be separate from the public dance lesson organized by the Greens.

The neighborhood square at Hohenzollern Allee is rarely used as a meeting point for the neighborhood. By organizing this dance lesson, the Greens hope to change that and create a more vibrant and active community space.

This event, titled "Dance or not at all", organized by the Greens in district 2, is designed to transform Hohenzollern Allee's neighborhood square into a more active and vibrant home-and-garden for the community. The dance lesson, held in cooperation with Discofox World Champion Maria Dortmann, encourages lifestyle participation, promoting a lively community lifestyle within the district.
