Swabian IT Manager Transforms Ford Focus RS into 560 PS Wagon
Sven Dräbert, an IT project manager from Swabia, has spent over six years transforming a Ford Focus RS (MK3) into a powerful wagon. The result is a unique, custom-built Ford Focus RS Wagon with a staggering 560 PS (412 kW) engine, a first for Ford.
Dräbert's project involved creating numerous bespoke parts, including a new cable harness, extended wings, and a handmade RS roof edge spoiler. The conversion was inspired by AUTO ZEITUNG, which will personally inspect and ride along in the car to document the process.
One of the main challenges was maintaining the vehicle's performance and handling while adapting it to a wagon body style. The car is equipped with a potent engine, sport-tuned suspension, and enhanced braking system. AUTO ZEITUNG played a crucial role in initiating and supporting the project, collaborating with specialists to make the wagon variant a reality.
Dräbert's Ford Focus RS Wagon, with its impressive 560 PS engine, is a testament to his dedication and skill. AUTO ZEITUNG's involvement has not only supported the project but also ensures that this unique creation will be documented and shared with the automotive community.
