Get ready for a delightful weekend as the Gut Rodinghausen Fruit Festival returns on the 20th and 21st of September! Located at the Gutshof of Gut Rodinghausen (Fischkuhle 15), the festival will run from 11 am to 6 pm, and admission is absolutely free.

On both days, visitors can enjoy a variety of culinary delights. Kampi's BBQ will be serving up homemade potato pancakes with apple sauce, crispy chicken buns with BBQ fruit sauce, grilled and curry sausage, and fries. For those with a sweet tooth, fruit with homemade chocolate sauce is also available.

The Bieberschlümpfe Lendringsen will be taking over Kampi's BBQ on Sunday, offering a taste of their famous homemade potato pancakes.

The day care centre "Regenbogenland" will be offering a selection of homemade fruit cakes, fruit juices, and non-alcoholic fruit cocktails. Artisanal fruit ice cream from the ice cream factory Nino & Sarah will also be available.

For a unique artistic experience, the craft program "Art in the Fruit Box" will be held on both days. This program, primarily intended for children between the ages of 6 and 10, will create unique pieces of art in fruit boxes using natural materials. Prior registration is required by phone or email. Younger children aged 4 to 6 are also welcome in the company of their parents or grandparents. The top three fruit boxes from the craft program will receive a small prize.

On Saturday, September 20th, at 3 pm, a craft program called "Art in the Fruit Box" will be held for children aged 4 and above.

The "Art in the Fruit Box" creations will be exhibited at the Industrial Museum on Gut Rodinghausen for public voting for the audience award.

Musical entertainment will be provided on both event days. On Saturday, the Duo Krause Dellwig will perform, and on Sunday, the Hemer Orchestra under the direction of Felix Piltz will take the stage. On Saturday evening, starting at 7:30 PM, the band Tiroler Herz will perform, and on Sunday, Win Stöckli will perform at 11:00 AM followed by Die Ladiner starting at 1:00 PM. Their concert will last until about 4:00 PM.

Bananas painted on the ground by the Mendener artist Helmut Kruse will guide visitors to the festival. The special exhibition "Dirk Vogel. Perspectives" and various installations from this year's KunstFest PASSAGEN's "Art Gone Wild" project will also be on display for the last time during the event.

The Obst Imkerei will provide homemade honey-fruit preparations during the event.

For those interested in learning more about apples, the Regional Center for the Märkischer Kreis Arche Noah Menden will offer an apple tasting and fresh apple juice tasting under the motto "Taste & Learn".

Small and large visitors can participate in the Bee Quiz and the Blossom and Fruit Quiz.

Public, free parking is available at Fischkuhle 10, OBO Bettermann at Fischkuhle, and Tor 4 on Hüingser Ring. However, the parking spaces next to the entrance to Gut Rödinghausen (LEG residential building at Fischkuhle 9) are private and should not be used.
