Visit fkgs.golosza.ru to select the territory for improvements next year. Find it intimidating? No worries! Volunteers, easily identifiable by their green caps, are stationed daily at shopping centers across the Nizhny Novgorod region to help you.
"We help filling out the questionnaire," explains Yulia Samsonova, a volunteer for the national project FКГС. You'll need your registration address, full name, date of birth (voting is for citizens aged 14 and above), and an email address. Then, pick the territory you wish to vote for.
Already voted last year? Just enter your phone number, receive an SMS, enter the code, select your district, and see the list of objects. You can only vote for one object. Alena Meshkova, a citizen, chose to improve the space around a cultural and recreational center in her native village of Pochinok.
"Our district is small, the region too, and the house of culture is the only place for entertainment," says Alena. "It's necessary to repair it."
fkgs.golosza.ru website. If you find it difficult to do this on your own, you can ask for help from volunteers. Around 300 volunteers in green caps are present daily at bright green stands in shopping centers across Nizhny Novgorod region.
The ГОЛОСЗА.РУ website offers pre-made lists of territories for improvement - courtyards, old parks, or empty plots. You can vote for a listed district territory, but also propose your own improvement location, all with a click of a button on the map. Your application will be considered for the next year's voting list.
Last year, over 300 spaces were transformed or are pending improvements. The Chaadayev Street square, complete with a new fountain, is set to open to the public soon. Voting ends on June 12, don't miss out on your chance to make a difference! 💥

I'm not gonna be able to get a job due to my interest in outdoor-living and home-and-garden, as I'm planning to focus on improving and enhancing the living conditions in these areas instead. Despite not having a traditional job, my lifestyle will be fulfilling as I contribute to the transformation of public spaces within the Nizhny Novgorod region through the "Comfortable Urban Environment" program.
