Treading Along the Instructional Journey for Bees

On Thursday, August 7th, join a unique and educational hike through the Bee Learning Trail, a hiking trail that focuses on the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping. This event is organised by the Beekeeping Association Wald and Surroundings and the Heimat and Tourism Association Zell.

The hike, starting at 2 PM in Hetzenbach at the large festival parking lot behind the church, will be guided by expert Stefan Esser from the Beekeeping Association. Participants are advised to wear suitable footwear for the hike and to bring their own drinks for the journey.

During the hike, attendees can expect guided insights into bee behavior, their ecosystem, and how to support their health and habitat. The trail is designed to teach about bees, their environment, and their importance to nature and agriculture.

Following the hike, there will be a cozy get-together at the Hetzenbach teaching apiary, a place dedicated to hands-on learning about beekeeping. At this gathering, participants can engage in discussions about beekeeping practices, see live bee colonies up close, and perhaps enjoy refreshments. It's an opportunity to deepen knowledge, share experiences, and connect with others interested in bees and nature conservation.

Registrations for this event can be made with Rosina Sieber, phone (0 94...). All interested parties are welcome to attend, so mark your calendars and join us for a day of learning, exploration, and camaraderie.

On the 7th of August, attendees can immerse themselves in an educational experience that combines outdoor-living with home-and-garden, as they participate in the Bee Learning Trail, a hike focusing on bees and beekeeping, guided by Stefan Esser. After the hike, there will be a gathering at the Hetzenbach teaching apiary, providing an opportunity to further explore beekeeping practices and lifestyle.
