Rare Classic Car Collection Up for Sale in Worcestershire
A collection of over 50 rare classic and retro cars, amassed over 30 years by a dedicated enthusiast, is set to be offered for sale by Vantage Classic & Sports, a specialist based in Worcestershire/Herefordshire.
The collection, which began in 1996 with a MkI Capri 1.3 automatic, includes a diverse range of vehicles from various manufacturers such as Ford, Opel, BMW, and others. Some standout models include an Alfa Romeo Spider S2, a Honda S2000 GT with hardtop, various Rover and MGs, a 50,000-mile Nissan 350Z Coupe, an excellent Mercedes W123 230E, and a 21,000-mile Toyota Celica 1.8 ST Coupe.
The collection also boasts a number of rare finds, such as a Manta B Silver II and a Manta B2 GTE Exclusive with only 14,278 miles. Another stand-out pick is a 1986 BMW E30 325i Hartge, ordered with numerous Hartge upgrades.
Each car (except those awaiting restoration) is a turn-key example, ready for immediate use. The owner, who worked at a local garage, developed a love for cars at a young age, particularly for Opel, Ford, and Toyota. He procured and restored the cars to the highest standards, maintaining factory specifications. Following purchase, the cars underwent major services, paint correction, detailing, and were kept in temperature-controlled buildings.
The cars will be available for purchase from August, with some potentially heading to the NEC for auction in November.
