Unrestricted view of Art Nouveau artworks and architecture

Neuss District's Perk:Residents of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district can savor the charm of the Kreismuseum Zons hassle-free! Make a monthly appearance on the first Saturdays and every Wednesday, flash your ID card at the cashier, or show an alternative document bearing your address if you ain't got your ID. That's the deal, courtesy of the museum's press office.

For now, until the 22nd of September, the Kreismuseum Zons, nestled at Schlossstrasse 1 in Dormagen, throws the spotlight on the exhibition "Up to the Surface." Expect to gawk at articles such as fancy tea sets, fabulous table lamps, swanky clocks, snazzy plates, and chic candlesticks, all showcasing sleek designs. The spotlight's on Netherland's Art Nouveau metal artists, Johannes Cornelis Stoffels and Jan Eisenloeffel, and their impact on German artisans and manufacturers. You'll also get a peek at the meticulously renovated permanent exhibition "Zinn zur Zierde. Art Nouveau's Kickin' Galanterie, Gift, and Luxury Items," featuring acquisitions by the Verein der Freunde und Förderer des Kreismuseums Zons e.V. Don't miss out on the museum café and the Friedestrom park at the Kreiskulturzentrum Zons, perfect spots to chill!

The museum's open from 2 to 6 pm on Tuesdays to Fridays, and from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Swing by: www.rhein-kreis-neuss.de/kreismuseum to learn more.
