Vaaree Raises $4.6M to Expand AI-Driven Home Decor Marketplace

Vaaree, an online marketplace for home and soft furnishings, has secured $4.6 million in a funding round led by Peer Capital. The company aims to strengthen its brand presence in metro and tier-2 cities across India.

Founded in 2022 by Garima Luthra, Pranav Arora, and Varun Vohra, Vaaree offers a wide range of products, nearly 80,000 in 150 categories. This is the company's second major fundraise in less than a year, following a $4 million seed funding round in November 2024. The new capital will be used to improve its AI-driven styling app, VibeCheck, and expand its delivery network for next-day deliveries.

Vaaree positions itself as a tech-first, consumer-trusted alternative in the market, sourcing products directly from factories. The company plans to scale its logistics and vendor infrastructure across India's urban and semi-urban regions to improve speed and reliability. The funding round also saw participation from Surge, All India Capital, Sattva Ventures, and the Asian Paints family office.

Peer Capital's continued investment in Vaaree reflects the growing interest in the fast-digitizing $15 billion Indian home decor and furnishings market. With the new funding, Vaaree is well-positioned to deepen its brand presence and enhance its offerings in metro and tier-2 cities across India.
