Walnut Creek Model Railroad Society Announces Public Display Dates for 2025
Get Ready to Gawk at 4,300 Square Feet of Miniature Majesty!
Want to catch a glimpse of 4,300 square feet of miniature mountains, working signals, and freight trains weaving through walnut groves? Mark your calendar then, because the Walnut Creek Model Railroad Society (WCMRS) has unveiled its lineup of 2025 Train Shows. Clever pricks at the WCMRS are ready to let rail enthusiasts witness their legendary Diablo Valley Lines layout in action!
Hanging out at the clubhouse
Starting from January 2025, the clubhouse, nestled in Larkey Park (2751 Buena Vista Ave.), will open its doors once a month. The Friday night shows, featuring dramatic dusk-to-dawn lighting cycles, run from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., while Saturday sessions, during daylight hours, run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
