Get ready to groove midweek in Walnut Creek, California, with the revamped Locust Street Festival! Formerly known as First Wednesday Street Fest, this summer extravaganza now claims brighter skies and better beats on Locust Street between Bonanza and Civic. Planned for four Wednesday evenings from May to August, mark your calendars for a riveting lineup of chest-thumping music, scrumptious eats, vibrant shopping, off-the-chain activities, and tail-wagging furry pals!

Let's party, Walnut Creek style!- Dates: May 14, June 11, July 16, August 6- Time: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM- ** Admission: ** FREE!

What can you expect each month?- Beer & Wine Heaven: Raise your glasses with a rotating selection of local brews, wine, and craft beverages!- Live Music Stage: Kick back and enjoy local bands rocking out on stage. The Dream Tellers are next in line.- Street Food Row: Indulge your taste buds with mouthwatering grub from handpicked downtown eateries like Elia and Massimo.- Artisan Marketplace: Dig into unique creations by local artists, including ceramics, artisanal goods, and upcycled fashion. Expect fresh-cut florals to give the event a pop of color.- Kids' Zone: Little ones can join in on the fun with crafts, face painting, and balloon animals at select events.- Art Activations: Get your creative juices flowing at various interactive artistic installations throughout the festival.

Bring your furry friends and park smart! Your four-legged companions are most welcome! However, street parking is limited, so plan to use the South Broadway or Lesher Center garages, offering the first hour free.
