Marburg Harbor Festival Returns to Lahn Meadows from May 28th
Beginning Wednesday, May 28th, and concluding on Sunday, June 1st, the Marburg Harbor Festival will unfold on the Lahn meadows, the green expanse located between the Cineplex and the river. Attracting festive revelers, the event offers a sizeable fairground and a large alpine hut. On the first day, fairground rides are available for one euro between 3 pm and 4 pm.
A special highlight on Thursday, Father's Day, is an early breakfast by the Lahn. This traditional event features local beverages and regional delicacies, accompanied by the lively tunes of the Toolbox party band.
Musical entertainment is contained within the brass orchestra performance of the Marburg firefighters on stage, as well as additional live music performances over the ensuing days. The Marburg Tafel's harbor festival brunch also takes place on Friday. One may register with the Tafel to participate.
