Wehrden Firefighters Get New Change of Clothes for Safety and Comfort
The fire fighting group Wehrden has received new news change of clothes, funded by a joint investment of around 1,000 euros from the district committee Wehrden, the community association Wehrden, and the proWehrden association. The new clothing, intended for use after deployments contaminated with smoke or other dirt, has been well-received by the group's leaders and members.
The initiative follows the successful example set by the fire fighting unit Beverungen in 2021, which provided its members with sports bags containing news. The new attire will also allow all members of the fire fighting group Wehrden to be equipped with personalized bags.
Günter Weskamp, district committee chairman, recently presented the new news change of clothes to the fire fighting group. He praised the fire fighting group as a pillar of society in the town. The fire department accident insurance recommends that fire fighters not wear deployment clothing while driving home, making the new provision particularly useful.
The new news, funded by the collaborative investment, will benefit the fire fighting group Wehrden and its members. It will not only provide comfort and convenience but also align with safety recommendations. The citizens of Wehrden can expect to see the new appearance of their local fire department.
