The Halle Wine Festival
The wine festival will run from Friday, October 17, to Sunday, October 19, 2025. On Friday, the festival will open its doors from 4 to 9 pm, while on Saturday and Sunday, it will be open from 10 am to 9 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday. Please note that the festival does not operate on Friday before 4 pm.
At the wine festival, you'll find 15 winemakers and wine merchants, primarily from the Saale-Unstrut/Freyburg-Unstrut region. Some of these vintners will offer small snacks alongside their wines, allowing you to savour the flavours of the region. For coffee lovers, there will be various coffee options available, and beer enthusiasts can enjoy beers from the Halle Specialty Brewery.
The Halle Pottery Market
Simultaneously with the wine festival, the traditional Halle Pottery Market will take place on the east side of the market square. The pottery market will be open on Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. On Sunday, the pottery market will continue even as the wine festival concludes.
The pottery market offers a wide variety of ceramic techniques, colors, shapes, and surfaces. Around 90 professional ceramic workshops will be present, showcasing their unique creations. The pottery market has gained regional significance and is a must-visit for anyone interested in artisanal pottery.
