In a recent announcement, Interface, Inc. unveiled two new global collections: Dressed Lines carpet tile and Lasting Impressions Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). The Lasting Impressions collection, the first to launch with Interface's new Sound Choice+ acoustic backing in the EMEA market, offers a fresh take on traditional aesthetics, celebrating irregularity and imperfection.
The Lasting Impressions collection features a range of LVT designs inspired by classic, tactile textures and ancient crafts, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility. The collection includes surfaces such as Merino Wool, Canvas, Rice Paper, Beryl, and LVT Plaster, each emphasizing a unique surface texture and heritage craft influence.
Merino Wool and Canvas evoke textile-like textures with subtle, quiet surface details that give spaces a sense of warmth and tactility. Rice Paper references delicate, handmade paper textures, bringing an organic, softly textured surface that adds visual interest without overwhelming. Beryl offers a unique touch, likely inspired by natural mineral textures or fine stone-like finishes, adding depth and grounding elements. The Lasting Impressions collection features six styles: Goes AroundTM and Comes AroundTM, Angular TimesTM and Accent HourTM, Simple Does ItTM and Positive SpinTM, HeirloomTM, and PlasterTM. Goes AroundTM and Comes AroundTM are foundational styles with pinstripe patterns reminiscent of formal wear, offered in 25 cm x 1 m formats. HeirloomTM is a new woven-inspired addition to Interface's LVT portfolio, featuring visuals of tatami weaving. PlasterTM is available in a 50 cm x 100 cm format in four colorways. Simple Does ItTM and Positive SpinTM offer texture and contrast, with speckled and cubed designs, available in 50 cm x 50 cm square formats.
The Lasting Impressions LVT collection introduces a fresh take on traditional aesthetics, celebrating irregularity and imperfection. It is the first to launch with Interface's new Sound Choice+ acoustic backing, offering premium acoustic insulation without the expense of fitting underlays. The collection also features Interface's Ceramor+ ceramic bead coating, which minimizes scratching and scuffing and provides enhanced slip resistance.
The Dressed Lines collection, inspired by post-war modernism, is Cradle to Cradle Certified® v3.1 Silver in Europe, providing third-party validation of the company's commitment to material health. Styles on Sound Choice+ reduce impact sound by up to 19 dB, delivering a lower carbon footprint of 6.8 kg CO2e/m2.
